App Overview

Core accessibility and safety features built for dignity, discretion, and medical necessity—not generic restroom listings. The same tools that protect medical privacy also serve parents out with young children and caregivers supporting someone with dementia or Alzheimer's.

Who we serve

Dignity Access started from lived medical experience — IBS, Crohn's, incontinence, garment and lactation privacy, mobility needs, and the daily logistics of leaving home with a medical supply bag. That mission stays at the center.

The app also serves people who share the same need for a lockable, single-occupancy space — without a separate product or a different map:

  • Parents and caregivers of young children — when a family restroom or private stall is the difference between a manageable outing and leaving early.
  • Caregivers of adults with dementia or Alzheimer's — when you need a restroom that is private, accessible, and secure enough to provide care without your loved one slipping out the door.

Your Dignity Profile stays on your device. You choose which needs apply to you; the map responds accordingly.

Urgency Routing

Four-tier custom map pins—Green Verified, Purple High Confidence, Royal Blue Needs Verification, and Slate Emergency-Only—instantly guide you to lockable, single-stall sanctuaries when every minute matters.

The Silent Access Pass

A full-screen, high-contrast digital card featuring universal medical crosses. Display it silently to clerks or merchants to bypass bag-checks for supply backpacks and gain restroom access—without humiliating public disclosures.

Total Local Privacy

Dignity profile toggles are stored strictly on your device—never synced to a cloud server. Your medical preferences stay on your phone, always.

The Dignity Card

Never hand over your phone again. The Dignity Card is a standard business card you carry in your medical supply bag. Hand Side A to any clerk — it states your medical need and your ADA rights, clearly and discreetly. Flip it over — Side B explains the Safe Harbor partner program so you can leave it with the business and let them look it up when they have a moment.

It looks exactly like handing over a business card. Nobody around you knows what it says.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about privacy, verification, and our free merchant rollout.

What makes Dignity Access different from standard public bathroom finders?

Generic apps list multi-stall restrooms where privacy is impossible. Dignity Access filters exclusively for lockable, single-occupancy family or changing facilities where users can manage protective garments or medical supplies with absolute security.

How does the app protect my location and data privacy?

Your search metrics and profile settings stay on your physical device. We utilize anonymized authentication methods so your medical data can never be compromised or tracked.

Is the storefront window sticker program free for small businesses?

Yes. For our initial rollout, local merchants can instantly print a temporary decal via our digital portal at zero cost to start welcoming customers immediately.

What is the Dignity Pass subscription?

Dignity Pass is $2/month. It funds faster mapping across the US and gives you Social Discretion Mode, background pin updates, pin rating and verification, city queue voting, and offline city packs. Every subscriber directly increases how fast we map new cities.

I have IBS or Crohn's — is this app for me?

Yes. Enable the IBS/Crohn's/Colitis toggle in your Dignity Profile and the Emergency Restroom button will route you to the nearest available restroom of any type via Google Maps — no single-occupancy requirement when speed is all that matters.

Is Dignity Access only for medical conditions?

No. The app was built around medical privacy and accessibility first — and those remain the heart of the project. Many families also use it to find single-occupancy and family restrooms with young children. Caregivers supporting someone with dementia or Alzheimer's can filter for secure locks that help prevent wandering, adult changing tables, and sensory-friendly spaces — on a map already focused on lockable, single-occupancy restrooms. Your profile toggles stay on your device; you decide what to turn on.
